Garbo's GSD Rescue

Garbo's German Shepherd Dog Rescue is a non-profit Volunteer organization dedicated to finding the right home for each dog in its care. We take in unwanted German Shepherd dogs and provide shelter and care for them until we can find them a secure and loving home. We promote responsible dog ownership and provide an after care advice, support and guidance service for the new pet owner. We need dedicated and caring owners to adopt our dogs.

All prospective new owners will be home checked, this is to ensure that the home is safe for our dogs and so we can get a better idea as to which of our dogs will match your circumstances and life style. We also promote spaying and neutering to prevent more unwanted puppies. We are not always best placed to do this ourselves in which case we would ask the new owner to pursue this when the time is right for the dog in their care.

Garbo's Rescue is based at Heathrow situated in a peaceful setting next to several fishing lakes. Whilst maintaining its rural appeal, the kennels are only minutes from the M4, M25 and London Heathrow Airport. We also kennel our rescues at Green Lane Farm Kennels which is set within a quiet location in Chessington. We also have fabulous home based support in Sussex where we have the chance to rehabilitate some of our rescues before rehoming. The staff at all of these locations are very keen to help in any way they can with our rescues, which is much appreciated

Money is tight for many, but with your unwanted items and a few minutes of your time you can list items on ebay and raise money for yourself and donate a percentage to help the dogs in need, we need you all to help as many Shepherds as we can.
Maybe we have helped you and you couldn't donate towards the dog we have taken, this is a way that everyone can help look after this very loyal and intelligent breed. 100% of your donation will go towards vet costs, kennel fees or essential items for the dogs in our care.
(a very small admin fee is taken to cover the cost of inks and paper for our newsletter from membership, just enough to cover the material costs, all time is given voluntarily)
